This album was the result of a failed first attempt at making a record. We all came from different music influences and the mash up of those influences resulted in a piss poor excuse of a record. We scratched everything and started new, on a more likewise direction. The last song on this album is the first we "wrote" after throwing away the old ones. It happened as an organic jam session, and this foundation lead the course for all of CAI's songs . Not once did we sit down and "write" a song. Cowboys Are Indians as we remember it, was always a natural experience. Once we found out that trying only hurt the band, we meshed, and the following album, and albums, is a result of that discovery.

This album, for me (Adam) will always be what Cowboys Are Indians was and will be.
